Dublin, Ireland 1st April 2006 - Kaluz Inc has released its Web 2.0 application at www.kaluz.com for delivering constantly updated miniature images of users' favorite websites. The facility is somewhat similar to what people will see in the upcoming release of Internet Explorer from Microsoft but differs in some significant ways according to the President of Kaluz, Steve Troy.
"Our approach is more in line with the Google and Web 2.0 philosophy instead of the old Microsoft thick windows client approach". We can generate the thumbnail images of many websites for users in seconds on our high speed and high bandwidth servers - to do this on the client PC takes a lot of time and sucks up all your bandwidth."
While the service has a companion toolbar for IE, it can be accessed from any browser such as FireFox. It can also be accessed from any PC so for people who use multiple PCs, Internet Cafes this can be a real boost.
The service is completely free to users and in addition boasts features like a website preview where a user can read what’s the latest news on a website before committing to clicking into it. The website uses some of the latest AJAX technology to deliver real-time smooth updates of images of website to the user.
About Kaluz : Kaluz Inc. is a privately funded technology company based in Dublin Ireland and dedicated to delivering better user productivity and user experiences through Web 2.0 technologies.
